ABOUT

Free Acres Horse Stable was established in 2014, with over 20 years of experience in caring for and handling horses, so you can have confidence that your horse will receive the best care.

We currently have 5 large individual turnout pens, approximately 400" X 400" We also have 3 large pastures, 7 acres & 20 acres in size where horses have grazing pasture, access to clean water & salt licks. When a new horse comes onto the property they are kept in a private pen so they can settle in. Proper introduction is important to promote the health of every horse on the property. Introduction to new horses is done slowly, by allowing the new horse(s) to see other horses without direct contact. Then allowing contact over a fence. Finally the horses are introduced to each other through direct contact, one at a time. We limit 2-4 horses per paddock to prevent overcrowding if they get along well, extremely dominant horses are kept in private paddocks.

Indoor/Semi indoor and outdoor Boarding

We have box stalls which are 10 x 10 in size to keep your horse comfortable and as much outdoor turnout as possible in order to allow your horses the freedom to run and play, just like nature intended. Because your horse's health and happiness is our top priority.
